A list of Eskirmological Works by Fellows of the Society of Eskirmology will be posted here shortly. We are working on publishing The Journal of Eskirmology comprising various Eskirmological papers and articles related to the subject of Eskirmology. The Journal is intended to be a discussion piece upon which Fellows may begin a sensible and formal discussion towards consensus on the matters of Eskirmology.
We would like to thank all Fellows who have graciously donated their papers to the Journal so far, and for their continued interest and support in pooling Eskirmological resources towards better human understanding of fighting and self-defence.
Upcoming Books:
The Martial Arts Delusion, to be published late 2009, early 2010.
This treatise begins the foundational arguments upon which Eskirmology has been built, taking an evolutionary perspective (in accordance with the Eskirmological Method) upon the contextual development of the Martial Arts, demonstrating that sanctification of and submission to Ritualised Combative Systems is the greatest delusion surrounding the practice of Martial Arts – a delusion which can be broken with the sober application of coherent scientific method (Eskirmology).
The Science of Fighting, to be published early 2010.
Investigating the phenomenon of fighting in the absence of ritualised perspectives, abandoning any knowledge which the martial arts declare about fighting, is the only way in which to learn the truth about fighting. Using nothing but logic, physics, mathematics et al, the text outlines the elements of Fight Science (Eskirmology). Then by a process of reverse engineering, the martial arts are assessed (briefly) for their applications to that Fight Science in an attempt to prove whether or not certain Martial Arts forms are Eskirmological.
