The Society of Eskirmology
In accordance with the Eskirmological Method, martial artists around the world are asked to apply the method in their own teachings and understandings. Once this method has been applied, they are entreated to post an article of their experience, any problems involved in it’s use, any amendments which might be required, etc.
The efficacy of the Eskirmological Method as a process towards genuine knowledge about fighting depends upon widespread application and dissemination – then further widespread consensus as to whether it meets the pragmatic purpose for its existence, and if it does not, in what ways may it be changed in order to better suit it’s purpose. For this reason, Eskirmology may be applied by anyone, regardless of martial affiliations, level of academic qualification or nationality. Eskirmology is not owned by any one person and it is not a system owned by an institution. Rather, it is an Open Source platform upon which Eskirmologists around the world might come together to share, openly and in an academic environment, the research, discoveries and understandings of all elements of fighting and combative practice. In which case, Eskirmology is a product of mankind’s investigation into fighting, and it may readily be taken up by any one in pursuit of the truth in combat.
In a bid to establish this open platform, eskirmology.com has named this loose relationship between eskirmologists around the world as “The Society of Eskirmology“. The website will readily accept any research papers, or articles on any manner of topic relating to the field of Eskirmology, for wide distribution and publishing to eskirmologists around the world. This will allow for an open forum for discussion on the many varied topics of Eskirmology, as well as begin an accepted consensus amongst experts in the field.
If you would like to list, or associate your practice with those of the Society of Eskirmology, or would like to contribute to the eskirmology.com whether by means of your opinion, or submission of Research Papers etc, please feel free to contact the webmaster; feedback@eskirmology.com
